Biography

Deborah Kerbel was born in London, England, but moved to Canada before she was old enough to cultivate a posh accent or a love of marmalade. She grew up in Toronto, Ontario, with her parents, two siblings, and a beagle named Snoopy. 

A finalist for the 2012 Governor General's Literary Award, Deborah is the author of six novels for young adult and middle grade readers. She lives in Thornhill, Ontario, with her husband, two children, and a schnoodle named Alfredo.
