Biography

Heather Kirk writes books for young people and adults, including both fiction and nonfiction. She also writes newspaper and magazine articles, radio scripts, and scholarly essays. Her interests include early Canadian novelists, especially John Richardson and Mazo de la Roche, and the history of nonviolent resistance, especially the Polish Solidarity movement and the Quaker peace testimony.
