Sharon Jennings is the author of over 60 books for young people, including the GG nominated novel "Home Free" and several titles (as ghost writer) in the Franklin Turtle series. She is a past president of CANSCAIP, a director on the board of The Canadian Children&;s Book Centre, an instructor at Ryerson, and travels widely and happily giving author visits and writing workshops to all ages. Recently she spent two stints in Kenya as the Canadian juror for The Burt Award for African Literacy. Sharon began her writing career after working for many years as an editor of school textbooks - primary to senior. Her latest book is "The Warning" a collection of hi/low short horror stories. Soon to be published is "Connecting Dots", the sequel to "Home Free".
